As owners, the Copeland family, Craig, Faye  and our two sons Craig II and Damon opened Graveyard Vineyards and Winery in the Fall of 2007, with a vision of creating the first Vineyard and Winery in Clifton, TN.

We are living a dream that we have had most of our adult life, living on our own piece of paradise. We found and bought the property in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the area and the people.

The property came with some grape vines and also has peach, plum, cherry, apple and pear trees. An abundance of fruit will only enhance the wines to come. It also came with a little surprise, it's own cemetery in the backyard. The home was built in 1857 and had passed through several generations. When looking for a name, we came up with Graveyard Vineyards, it seemed appropriate since the vines will encircle the graveyard. 

We have since planted several varietals of Muscadine, Concord and Cabernet Sauvignon vines. We plan on continuing to expand the vineyard over the years.  We built a new pond nestled in the woods for relaxation, fishing and irrigation. The Catfish, Bass, Bluegill and Red-ears are getting big!

Located in the hills of Western Tennessee near the Tennessee River, Graveyard Vineyards & Winery is off the beaten path. Looking for a new adventure in our lives we settled in and began that new adventure in Clifton.
